| We are charged as educators to provide our students opportunities to succeed in the 21st century. Working within the framework of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, this course will cover tools available from Google to implement in your district. You will learn how to use Google to integrate 21st century interdisciplinary themes into core subjects. You will learn how to use Google to enhance information, media and technology skills as wells as how to implement learning and innovation skills. You will also be exposed to how Google can help with life and career skills as outlined by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. Professionals face many challenges. One of which is finding opportunities to network with other professionals and share ideas, frustrations, websites, or just have an ear to bend. With the advancement of internet communication tools, we now have ways to build professional social networks online. This course will introduce you to several social networking tools that can help you build a network of professionals to help you with lesson ideas, research, tech support, professional development or just moral support.
